Roy H. Andes, M.A., J.D.
After earning his law degree from the University of Virginia in 1977, Roy joined the Bolinger & Welcome law firm where he litigated 54 trials in state and federal courts in 28 months. Subsequently, as Montana Assistant Attorney General he handled complex governmental litigation and served as administrative law judge for a dozen state agencies. Roy's defeated litigation opponents have included Chrysler, Toyota, and the Internal Revenue Service. With his M.A. in conflict resolution in 1988, Roy became an active mediator, and has taught conflict resolution at four colleges and universities and to numerous other groups. He currently works as both attorney and mediator in Helena.. As a mediator and teacher, Roy displays a unique combination of compassion and toughness. Tel. FUN STUFF
Besides authoring our "fairy tale," Roy consumes his
spare time with mountaineering, telemark skiing, mountain biking, films,
obsessive remodeling of old houses and both reading and researching historical
stories. After five mountain treks in Nepal, you could probably say
he is in love with the place.
